The Gaffney Police Department said a burglar broke into the Cherokee County Alcohol and Drug Abuse Commission on West Montgomery Street but may have left the implements of the crime behind. According to a police report, officers responded to a burglar alarm at the West Montgomery Street office early Thursday morning and discovered the rear door had been forced open.
