Revoking Parole


Parole or probation may be revoked if the conditions set out during the sentencing process are violated. These usually include:   -Possession of weapons -Possession of illegal substances -Concealing one’s location -Not reporting to one’s parole or probation authority -Involvement with criminals -Committing another crime -Violation of any other terms imposed by the judge   Following a violation there is a hearing to determine if parole should be revoked. The outcome of the hearing can be appealed.
