Motor Vehicle statutes are enacted by our elected representatives in Trenton, which is the state capital. This is encoded in Title 39 and Title 39 has all the motor vehicle statutes for the State of New Jersey, everything from speeding to DWI.

In the motor vehicle code they also include stuff, let’s say, the regulation of motor vehicles, who can be licensed, who can’t be licensed. For instance if you’re not a residence of New Jersey you can’t get a New Jersey license. It also includes everything from equipment violations to how Motor Vehicles has to do their inspections.

So this is all encoded in Title 39 of the New Jersey Statutes that are enacted in Trenton.
